- 02h first contact drawing – grandma luiza – batchan maravilhosa
- tal r and suzanne brogger – drawing a line and making a mark — royal drawing school
- definitely tal r is one of my favorite painters (alive) to listen to. i really like his work — mistery, humour, wit, freedom… even his colors!
- bruno dunley – introduction to oil paint
- finally i’ve watched the first class on oil paints. how lucky i am: now that i decided to experiment with oils, there’s a new brazilian professional brand of oil paint: joules and joules — created by two brazilian painters: bruno dunley and rafael carneiro. perfect timing — my pocket and heart appreciates!
- anna bella geiger – class on art povera.
- i enjoy listening to such a incredible artist, even if she’s just presenting other works than her own. a brazilian legend on contemporary practices.
- “clement’s khaligat crimes”
- a blog post about clemente’s deep inspiration on some khaligat’s paintings. i personally wouldn’t call it a crime. the post shows a good reflection on inspiration, copying, being clemente, being anger about clemente… all in art’s sake.
- today i’ve opened @catalogo.da.desrazao.
this afternoon i started some experiments with acrylics. it reminded me of a book that i bought last year but didn’t give an adequate look. i bought it on a sale and didn’t thought much of the book neither the artist — unbeknown to me an incredible one: ana horta!
once again, art gives me wonders.
i started looking with attention to ana horta’s art and it gave me energy, happiness and will to go to work. i searched online for her and discovered that she passed away in a car accident being just 30 years old. that was in 1986. this got me. my high energy got mixed with a kind of melancholy and sadness. i won’t stay down, i want to celebrate an incredible artist and her art.
it will be my next read.
a curious fact was that i just had online class with fernando cocchiarale (together with anna bella geiger) and there is a small text by him in ana’s book.
